- I suspect 'scuppang' was actually 'scuppaug', a kind of fish

- scumble was one of my favorite wwftds, and Wolinsky's too: http://www.wolinskyweb.net/word.htm

- scrivello was once used to make billiard balls; this was a hogwash® word (but this serves to remind me that I should add this to the wwftd backlog)!
