I wonder if the expression "having half a brain" refers to people who allow one of these aspects to dominate. To organised and rigid and you can't enjoy the world because it won't fit in. To flighty and chaotic and you miss the world as you flitter by. I'd like to think being whole brained was about balancing these things.
