Why can't writers use product names in their articles? That seems absurd to me.
They can, dear Wordwind, they must just be careful to make it clear they mean that brand and must capitalize.
World Series, Vallium, Q-Tips, Xerox, Kleenex, yes, even Muzak which is a trademark for a type of recorded background music!
