I lost sleep over your "Peter Grimes" brought to you by Unilever until you told me to stop thinking too deeply about it.

A question: Are we on our honor not to check dictionaries for the word in question? I didn't submit a definition, because I found frist in several places in OneLook. Curiosity done me in.

back when points were been kept religiously, and the title of Hogmaster was coveted, I think it would have been bad form to go to the books; however, the play and mis-direction to accumulate points probably encouraged many to consult their sources.
now, who cares, as long as you don't spill the beans...

Thanks etaoin - you have enabled me to blame my consistently pathetic performance on my over-developed sense of honour.

Scusi, but aught is a libellous misstatement. Retract it at once, or face the consequence, joisey boy. Single digit score, peut-etre, pero nicht zero.

And, as you already know, nobuddy sez "joisey" in Jersey...dey only say dat in Brooklyn...around Toid Avenue and Toidy Toid Street!

GET OFF THE TURNPIKE!!

Dear all,
really very sorry about it: The contest completely slipped from my mind - we have a lasting heatwave here, limiting ourselves to the vital thinking tasks.
But my vote is A.

Kin I say it now? Remember, I was seriously considering this one, but:

J. The sand to gravel sized bits of colored glass which are used to color or decorate glass

OK, I can see the decorate part, but using colored glass to *color glass?
