Hiya...
I'm looking for some history of the name of my best friend's brand new baby. Her name is Alita, which is a variant spelling of Aleda. I haven't had much luck Googling for the etymology of these names, beyond finding their meaning: small winged one...
Can anyone offer a website or somesuch that might have the history of these names? I am particularly interested in the root words for these names.
