 This post ain't political, so don't get yer knickers in a twist ...
The man tried to surrender to the Yanks in Mosul. He wasn't on the wanted list, so they wouldn't take him. So he travels to Baghdad, camps out at his aunt's place in Palestine Street and tries to negotiate a surrender. Still no takers.
Fortunately, an Arab TV station wants him as an analyst!
Go figger ...
 Did you make this up?
 No, it's absolutely true, Jackie. He's a very hot ticket. He could make a fortune mis-reporting world events. I wish CNN would pick him up to mis-report. He'd be a refreshing change from the news so is so often wrong anyway. With Comical Ali, you'd KNOW it was wrong from the get-go.
 I wish CNN would pick him up
Too late. He's already been hired by the White Sox:

 It's been suggested that Virgin Rail here in Pommyzone should hire him. They need someone who can lie to the public about why their trains are never on time or have been cancelled with a straight face. The major qualification is a firm grasp of the surreal. Perhaps he should have been called Comical Dali ...

 For those who haven't yet seen it (And this *is a WORD post!!):

 cancelled with a straight face.
The face that cancelled a thousand trips?
 Anna, that site is too funny! More goofing off...
What sane person could live in this world and not be crazy? -Ursula K. Le Guin, author (1929- )
 "Comical Dali"--says Cap (or was it the alter-ego pfranz?);
"The face that cancelled a thousand trips"--says Faldage.
...these were worth repeating.
