The naswer was "Viennese table." Neither Peggy nor I had an idea what it was and a google reveals that it is a dessert table, at least judging from the descriptions offered by various caterers. Anyone ever heard of it? Any other odd names for stuff associated with weddings? Some claim the term to be of Italian origin; some insist that it is Jewish. Nobody seems to claim that it is Austrian. That's odd. Maybe this is one of those terms like "French fry" which have nothing to do with their direct referent.
