A paragraph on entertainment in New Zealand says, in part, ...the speccy star of TV’s “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”... Speccy = spectacular?
Also: A once on a lifetime opportunity Was that a typo, or do you-all really say "on" a lifetime? I've only heard "in" a lifetime.

I've only ever heard "once IN a lifetime", although outsiders unfamiliar with the dulcet purity of Zild vowels may disagree. As to "speccy" star, I'll have to leave that one to the Zilder more experienced at orbiting the sun than I, since I've never heard it.

"speccy" - you get it quite a lot in the UK too. Sometimes it's just used as a nickname for someone who wears specs, but it can also be used in a derogatory way to imply that someone's a bit of a nerd.
