Hi Folks,
I am trying to track down a novel that was the subject of a sponsor's ad during an AWAD message during the past year. I'm sorry that I don't have much information to go on except the following: The author is a woman, the title included the word "bone" or "bones" and the author's nicely designed web site included war stories of book readings to scant audiences, hard travel with heavy books and other such tales from a burgeoning writing career.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks, Roland

Welcome, Roland! All I can think of is Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones. Let us know if that's what you were looking for and, if not, what it is when you find it.

Thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately, the book and author I'm looking for are not (yet) nearly as well known as Alice Sebold and her tour de force "The Lovely Bones".
I recall that the author in question was transitioning to writing in mid-life and this was her first published novel.
Thanks again, Roland
