I think, therefore I, um ah, am . . . a waffle, um, I think? Maybe I'm not . . . oh well, ah, okay -- I'm a waffle.

But are you of two minds about ambiguity?

i know , i know...è,é,È,É--Þ

the are several ways... i use a PC (and these are PC directions)
first go to the start button, and then to Run.
in the box, i type charmap which is short for character map. (hit run!)

the character map window open up to my default font (arial) and it displays all the characters in the font...

i click on any single one, and in the lower right hand corner of the window, there is a dispay showing the character code...

the codes for most characters are the same from font to font.. but not always...

i press alt and use the number pad (make sure num lock is on!) and don't use the number above the letter portion of the keyboard.

alt+ 0232=è

alt+ 0233= é

alt+ 0200 =È

alt+ 0201 =É

and the perennial favorite, alt + 0222=Þ

so now you know!

Again, it should be added that these are PC directions for the Windows Operating System and do not work on PCs using other OSes
