Most important, since we are using this very media, Xanadu is the name of a super Internet that never existed, although Theodore Nelson started conceiving it in the sixties. It looks like no Xanadu (and Welles/Kane's as well) can ever really exist.

Utopia is a street in Queens (NYC)-called Utopia Parkway, it is neither utopian or lined with parks.. a neighbor along one streatch shares the name.. so it is possible to live in Utopia!
(and true to form, the neighborhood Utopia, is very far off the beaten path, isolated from major roadways and the subway!--it really is "no where"!)

talking about xanadu,, can anybody tell me what's so called xanadu effect? i've read that expression somerwhere..
