If you mean to use the word to mean an altercation, it's pronounced as in cow; if it's meant as a means of propelling a boat, or as a line of some things, it's as blow or tow.

Ah, Angle-ish, isn't it sensible!

aji, maybe it would help to note that all usages of the word rhyme with "no" except for one, the one that boronia points out.

When "row" is used to mean "a spat or fight; noisy ruckus", it rhymes with "cow"; the other meaning of the word rhyme with "no".

Dear Aji
Please post more doubts/questions if you have any. English is a language that sometimes make you go that way ow..ow..ow. That too rhymes with cow. :)
Seriously. Do post more questions if you have any..

Are you two insensitive? No, you too know two well that you are confusing our goodbuddy Aji, and I don't think it is cricket to try to cow him with our deft use of english. Aji has become our best and only questioner in Questions and Answers. Let us protect him from all the cowing, kidding, and obfuscation.

Just kidding Aji, -

Don't worry Aji, they are not starting a row. (cow)
They are just being silly. That happens around here a lot!
If they did start a row, they'd have to stand all in a row (no) and apologize to each other! Ho! Ho! Ho! (no!)

Now, all of us just have to behave! Tsk Tsk.

Jackie and I, after a friendly row [cow] some time ago, have agreed to disagree about the pronunciation of that phrase!
