I have a few inquiries about Shakespeare's works.

I'm confused, Iago is Othello's soldier, right? So Othello was driven to murder his wife by his soldiers or is it Cassio?

Which character is it that found his friends deserting him when he became broke but his steward was his only true friend? Is is Timon of Athens or King Lear? They both have similarities, at some point.

Sigh, Shakespearean English is confusing!
