Warm hug, TEd. We went through that last April. Putting her down, age 14, was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

Wasn't that "Dem Bums"? There are Da Bears, nowadays, but that's a different game altogether.

Thinking of phobias recently, I thought to mention hobophobia, fear of hobos, here. But not to be confused with hodophobia, fear of roads, which would be a pity and an ironic one for a hobo.
I find it also ironic that "Bean" introduced a "Bum" thread--contrary anatomical positioning.
Fun to read this thread, by the way. Consuelo, your lines of hoboetry were worth the whole read.
