I participate in a bicycle tour with a large group for which we hire someone to set up camp. This person is in charge of hauling equipment, setting up camp, etc. The word we have been using to describe this person's role - for loss of a better term - is "camp wrangler". I have since come up with the word "campsmith". Is their a suitable or more accurate word to describe this role?

Quartermaster. I like it. A friend suggested also "campmeister". Any other ideas?
