I am looking for a word beginning with 'C' to describe black & white as in photography or films. I'd first seen it in a review of Hindi film 'Black' (2005) but, I don't remember its spelling or pronunciation.

Would be obliged if you can help me.

Was the word, perhaps, chiaroscuro? It's an Italian word and means literally light-dark.

Ceci n'est pas un seing.
