There is a word that means "a coming together of the old and new". and I can not remember or find it. I need it to describe a handmade basket with 2 handles. One is "traditional "style and one is a new style. Beautiful art needs beautiful ( and correct) words!! Thanks

I'll go with black-crowned night heron. Yup. That's gotta be the word.
