yes, we've got a real blizzard here today; biggest since the Hallow-e'en Blizzard of '91. "Nearly a foot of snow had already fallen in Minneapolis by 1 p.m. CST Saturday."

I'm not going anywhere..

Blizzard! Blizzard? Dag nab it, I thought WE were lucky this past week when the flurries actually stayed on the grass for several days.

On the Plains we had it last year, glad it skipped us by.
But I do really empathize with the east coast. Hope those
planes start moving soon..26+ inches in New York and Jersey
is scary, especially at one time.

I fully empathize with all you blizzard victims, but I'm no longer impressed by snow stories since we had a full December month of frost and snow without end.

One of the fun parts was this all natural baby polar bear
(or polar piglet ) sitting on top of my bay laurel bush one morning.

Someone else suggested elephant as well, but the softness and the very small ears makes me think of a mutation: piglet-polar bear-elephant. I call him Hoike Half-ear.

At least you don't have to feed it.
