Remember a few years ago..Jesus appearing in breakfast foods...
One man sought simony by posting a pancake for sale on eBay.
He posted the 'Holy Pancake' with an opening bid of $500. The bidding reached $14,999.00 before the listing was removed. I'm not sure why it was removed but obviously there was interest in the product.
Now a manufacturer has hopped on the bandwagon and produced a pan that puts the image of Jesus's right into food!
Jesus Pan
Now, call me cynical...but which came first, the hype about the pancake appearing and then the product from that idea or was it a good marketing ploy to sell a product!
Can you say "pareidolia"? Sure you can. My favorite was the one that was supposed to be the Virgin Mary on a piece of french toast or something like that. Looked like John Wilkes Booth, or either that or Edgar Allen Poe, one.
yes....I think I can, with practice.
was it the grilled cheese on toast episode?
pareidolia is a type of Apophenia like The Number 23 (movie)....I was all for believing it.
piece of french toast
Does the image of the BVM weep tears of maple syrup?
Ceci n'est pas un seing.
good for breakfast then ...on pancakes
There was a recent episode of "Glee" where one of the characters saw an image of Christ on his grilled cheese sandwich. The episode was named, appropriately, "Grilled Cheesus."
