I did not know you could do two changes in one post.

Hey, wasn't the last word in the sequence UNGROUPS? Seems the last Ten posts have been in vain. Mind you, it wouldn't be the first wrong turn crazy

HU? What are you two talking about? It developed neatly on from ungroups
You can change a letter and scramble or add/-/delete one and scramble. So yes two changes JavL.

I think Olly was put off by wofa's reversal, "Wait a minute. Let's go back to GROWNUP."

Olly, I went back to GROWNUP because of an assertion that we should abandon it and move on as it was un-followable within the rules. My offering was proof-by-counterexample; then we continued from that point.

Not a great tragedy to go either way; it is however the second time recently we've given up too easily, as shown later. smile

LOVER

add an I

OLIVER

(I know we've had some discusison about the permissability of capitalized words, so let me sidestep the entire issue and postulate that I mean "the occupation of one who grows an olive orchard")

I won't go for the obvious teases, but instead swap an s for an a.

How do you undo a U and add an E and an extra I in two steps only?

Well, I wanted to use PIGIRON but there seems to be general aggreement that it's two words, not one, so we'll have to find a Plan B:
POURING
change U to E
PERIGON
add another I
PEIGNOIR

...and now, we return to our regularly scheduled programming.
