I think I want to pronounce the E (im mens ee OS i ty) per the spelling and I don't think it should be pronounced. If you don't want the E to be pronounced try spelling it IMMENSOSITY.

Immenseosity = more floor space, less home.
Immensosity = more floor space, less taste.

Is there a term for words that are almost synonyms? eg.
PS bienvenida(o?) Machita

Most synonyms at least purport to have shades of meaning.

Being that -osity is a common ending, I can't tell that immenseosity (with or without the e) is not just plain immense-ness or immense verbosity or immense bellicosity or ... How about immenstrosity?

In addition to McMansions, we also call them starter castles around here.

Welcome Machita.

I'm not sure the meaning of immenseosity is immediately apparent. If I read it in a paragraph, I'd be highly dependant on the sentences around it to know what it meant. I'd probably say the thing was hugely ugly.
