I understand Laurie perfectly but the questions of Fry seem a bit...well, pedestrian.

Thanks lots for a good laugh on a gray day. I have some doubts however
on the pejorative application of the word "pedestrian" .
The best holidays I remember were pedestrian long trail trips.
Never a dull moment.
Isn't Fry the rock that makes Laurie roll?
Or the other way around?
the use of pedestrian to mean ordinary is quite pedestrian.
-joe (dull even) friday
I just learned from milo's post that the word can also mean "dull" or "ordinary". I'm afraid there hardly is a word that is ordinary to me. cobwebs long since overrun by a Wellington boot, ha!!

Ah, BranShea, you wooden she devil, you have just "outed" joe friday as "Milo" themilum.
I have met both joe friday and themillum and I can tell you, they are not anywhere even near the same

Well hello, Consuelo, long time no see.
But me and joe would like to know
which of us should thank you for your discernment?
