Well--as I recall, the usual time is a week, to send in submissions. That'd make it the 20th. I've only rec'd. one so far. I will probably allow till somewhere around the 29th. for voting, as the Thanksgiving holiday will take up a lot of time for most of this country's voters; if I get enough def's. to even post, that is. Thanks for asking--I was a bit remiss, wasn't I?

Rulz? We don't need no steenkin' rulz...  to start, the moderator/hogmaster® posts a [really] obscure word and asks for definitions to be submitted via PM, usually within a se'nnight (seven nights). at that point the submittals are grouped into a post and polling proceeds. voting usually continues until all of the contributors have had a chance to vote, or until polls are arbitrarily closed by the hogmaster. 'When I use a rule,' Consuelo sayz, in a rather scornful tone,' it means just what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less.' (apologies to Mr. Carrol)
