googling or googleing?

googling gives about a 20 to 1 advantage to the former, although using "google-ing" about doubles the count for the latter (still an order of magnitude though).

googling :: 1,540,000
googleing :: 66,000
google-ing :: 119,000 (includes the 66000)

p.s. - as of this week(?), if you personalize your Google™ home page, the logo becomes iGoogle™. heh.

edit: adding the numbers

I say googleing is just wrong; and I would venture to say that enough of the literate world is aware now of Google that putting google-ing is no longer necessary. So, googling.

So? Wit' dat hapology thang goin' on, it'd become goo-gling anyways. That
--leing just looks wrong, like that brand of golf balls that I always see first as
tit-leist. An' I ain't goin' to hapologize, neither.

Jeeves has been retired for more than a year now -- I actually looked into this for a tutorial I give on Searching the Web, and Ask.com essentially felt they needed a face-lift because folks no longer had much interest in searching via questions, which was the original idea behind the Jeeves persona.

p.s. - did you know that Nielsen rates search engines? here are the recent ratings.

Ask is often a useful alternative for Google. I use the American Ask and the Dutch beta version they have runnung.I like their 'smart pages'. (never tried the others on that rating list)
