My son brought an Indian-mexican fellow up from the Gulf Coast for a few days to help in some contruction going on around the place. He is a nice quick thinking little fellow (less than five feet tall) and can't speak a lick of English.

Would you mind writing him a post in Spanish and tell him what a nice guy I am. He seems lonely and afraid, as I would too if I were stuck alone in a cabin in a strange place with giant people speaking harshly at me and not being able to understand a swinging thing.

Thank you,

Milo

His name is Artenno (sp?) and his eyes light up when I say "Yucatan".
Thanks.

You could use the PM function or send an E-mail.

Ok, Musick, if you and Annastrophic want to monitor this board -- let it eat. But what then is your and Annastrophic big reason for not sending me a PM reminding me to use the PM function for private messages?

I await your answer here on this open board.

I'm just guessing (and I too opened this open thread expecting to find an open thread), but I'll bet they used reasoning closely akin to your own reasoning for posting a "private messsage" here in the clear in the first instance.

And yours, tsuwm?

I had my reasons for posting on an open forum.

Do you three old timers have your reasons for your open gangbang?

My "reason" was to coax an expansion of your open challenge to oldtimers, from two oldtimers to three oldtimers.

I seem to have been successful.

I believe calling it "other peoples mail" would exclude me, too, but my eyes have seen the glory. No gang bang. No monitor. A bit of sticking up for AnnaS I s'pose... but that's just kneejerk. Open kneejerk, because it seems to be a bit in the open. After AnnaS comment, I'd expect something more gentlemanly like "Ooops, I guess you have a point", but now I guess my expectations are way off.

Well, I had a minute but it's gone missing. Where do the minutes go? One minute it's there and the next minute it's history. Are you sure he speaks Spanish? There are many pre-1492 dialects that are still spoken south of Texas all the way to the tip of South America. It is entirely possible he speaks one of them.
To my knowlege, Artenno is not a name or even a word in Spanish. Could it be Arturo?

No Consuello, Artineo (ar-TIN-e-O) pretty much believes that he speaks Spanish. I asked him if he speeka de mexicanno had he nodded "yes".
Thank you for inquiring but I have come to believe that AWAD is maybe not the best venue to use in cheering a lonely fellow up.

Besides Artineo is picking up a little English. Yesterday morning there was a bit of frost on the punpkins of Alabama. Antineo frowned and said "not good". But not to worry, Artineo will be warm again Thursday when we deposit him back in Orange Beach, Alabama where we got him.

Cheers.

What is this, AWAD bickering day?

A. decided anyway to offer a two-cent sentence:

El Milo is un postador [chiste para Jackie ] simpatico, aunque parace que no puede marcar bien sus preguntas.
