Oh my! You don't say!  You know, somebody actually told me this and I thought they were pulling my leg! !! I thought it must stand for something more "official", since I saw it in newspapers all the time... This will teach me, definitely. Thanks a lot, etaoin. So, now the second question (sorry!), is GOP applied only to the Republican Party, or can they all be referred to as "Grand Old Party"?
