OP Dear Faldage: my mother-in-law had learned a lot of salty words from her father, who had
been a traveling salesman. He was henpecked, and retaliated by slyly teaching his wife
salty expressions learned from fellow traveling salesmen. One of them was "reamed" meaning
being sodomised in a financial transaction. I had to explain it to my wife to keep her from
using it with friends who might know the vulgar origin.
