I don't much like camping-- my idea of the country is doing something like the Mt Washington Hotel-- picnics, golf, riding, hiking, and back to the base for dinner, and please remember to dress..

and i have mixed feelings about camps (kids camps) it can be nice to have some structure to your day-- but many programs are geared to met the "average" kid-- and if you are not the norm.. it can be boring.. and since camp is also expensive-- it is not always an option.

I only went once in all my childhood-- with five kids my parents just couldn't afford it. (one year, things were very bad-- and we qualified for a camp because we were so poor, most of time, we were "too rich to qualify, to poor to afford" ) but since i wasn't all that sure i like it-- i didn't mind.
