OP The writing of Lewis Carroll is not just story telling. It's the cleverest and most amusing juggling with language and mind. It's not particulary for children, though clever children above the age of 8 who love words are capable to grab the fun.
I read it when I was 14 and Alice has been a favorite all my life.
