OP A recent "word of the day" -- "wifty" -- reminded me of a word my country grandmother used during my childhood. The word was "sprunty" and the context in which she used it suggested it meant "full of pep" or "ready for energetic mischief." She was from northeast Texas; her mother was originally from Georgia.
Does anyone have any information about "sprunty"?
Thanks.
