wow, you read a whole lot more into that than I did.

for me, it says, don't expect that having money necessarily guarantees happiness and fulfillment. there are those without material riches that are completely satisfied and fulfilled, and the reverse and inverses are also true.

if I had all the money in the world, I might buy a fabulous meal, but if I am unhappy, the meal will taste no better than gruel. that's the shell/kernel concept, in a nutshell, as it were.
