Can you call it a hijack when it's two years old? MaxQ used but did not define "suppurate"
" the old petulance suppurates anew." Maybe his cat totem gave him catscratch fever,
of which I have not heard for forty years. But that doesn't cause "pussy" stuff.

suppurate
vi.
3rat#ed, 3rat#ing 5< L suppuratus, pp. of suppurare, to form pus underneath < sup3, SUB3 + pus (gen. puris), PUS6 to form or discharge pus; fester
sup#pu[ra4tion
n.
sup4pu[ra#tive
adj.

Incidentally, if "puris" is the genitive of pus, who would want to be a "purist"?

I'm drawing an absolute blank here.

I know about Lucent, and Cingular, and Prudential, and Vanguard too, but I never heard of a company called Suppurate. Can someone enlighten me?

In the middle of long paragraph by Wordsmith - "Super 8" hotel chain. You get fester
service there.
