When I looked up "lee" expecting to find more meanings, I found its opposite, a word I
never heard of before:
stoss
adj.
5Ger < stossen, to push < OHG stozan < IE base *(s)teu3, to push, beat > STOCK, L tundere, to strike6 facing or located in the direction from which a glacier moves Opposed to LEE

Wind.

Wind is opposite lee.

Windward where's the wind's coming from and lee is the direction the wind's headed toward.

And windward and leeward have aggravated the devil out of me over the years--so now you've gone and thrown in stoss and lee. Aggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!

But I guess stoss is to lee as windward is to leeward.

I Grant you, it's no problem to find the opposite of Lee.
