Fjord bank cwm glyphs vext quiz.
You can check all the words, including the spelling "vext" and the use of the word "quiz" to mean "eccentric person" at http://www.m-w.com/ .
As for making easy sense, in my own experience it has nearly happened.
- I have for many years tried to acquire the reputation of an eccentric genius. My friends tell me that I have achieved 50% success.
- I have often been annoyed by marks carved into stone.
- I have seen the banks of several fjords.
It's only a matter of time.
Regards, Ron Davis

Last week's puzzle on National Public Radio's Weekend Edition (Sunday) was for a pangram involving a famous name. Entires were judged on meaning, syntax and overall elegance; the shorter, the better. The winning entry was G. W. BUSH QUICKLY FIXED PRIZE JAM ON TV . Not sure how meaningful this is, or how elegant, but hey -- the guy who runs these contests in the NY Times's crossword puzzle editor, so there you have it: http://www.npr.org/programs/wesun/puzzle/
