"And I said to myself...what a wonderful world!"

Well, the time has come for both Milos to be able to tell me what they're really thinkin'! Seems a doggy talk translator has been developed they claim can decipher the mood and message of every bark, woof, and arf! Now we'll see if Mr. Milo's translations are up to snuff as a doggy talk scholar as he so peremptorily put forth on the retarius thread! Kinda opens up a whole new field of linguistics, doesn't it?...we can have AWOOFtalk, the Worthless Woof for the Day, the ODD (Oxford Doggy Dictionary)! Think of it! The opportunites are endless!
Arfy barkery! Woofy barking! Barky-arfy! etc, etc...

I always knew my canines were saying somethin'!...really.
Just make sure you don't keep that device on after scolding your pup for one of those accidents on the carpet, though...it wouldn't be very pretty for the young'ns to hear their doggy talkin' that way!

And there's a video available on http://ABCnews.com (right column), but I couldn't open it.

'Course, now, I expect I'll have to edit doggy Milo's first novel for him! (sigh...) (wink)

Will there be a choice between using Woofsters and Barkleby's Dogtionaries?

This reminded me of something Carl Sagan said, WO'N:

It is of interest to note that while some dolphins are reported to have learned some English - up to fifty words used in correct context - no human being has been reported to have learned dolphinese.

It's actually part of a global dolphin plot to ensure that while they can talk to us and understand us, their quest for world domination will remain completely hidden from us until the day they actually take over ...

The idiot also known as Capfka ...

The time to worry is when you hear them whistling The Star-Spangled Banner while performing a backwards somersault through a hoop. When that happens, get the hell outta here, double-quick.

Or whistling God Save the Queen while wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with a map of the old British Empire! (and a sailor's cap with "English Fleet" stitched in front)
