Loc: Portland,Oregon, USA If you haven't seen the new movie version of "The Trouble With Being Earnest," you're missing a real treat!
Oscar himself would be Wilde about it!

Loc: Usually the western United Sta... I loooove Oscar Wilde. I hadn't noticed the importance of being Earnest was out. I'll have to go looking for it.

Since the screenplay is an adaptation, it's hard to say. Just go see it; I guarantee glee!

Summer is usually a very busy time for me (I'm sure it is for almost everyone) so it is sooo, sooo nice of you to keep us posted with your latest find in the silver screen arena.
I, too, looove Wilde and have read The Importance of Being Earnest a long time ago.
To me plays and poetry are the altars for word adoration. Really good screenplays are a joy.
Like, the others, I did not know IBE has been turned into a movie. I must really find time to see it.
Thanks for the tip, Geoff.

Oh, well, I screwed up the title of the Oscar Wilde movie, so don't feel too bad! Can we both fit into the same Freudian slip, or do you want your own?
