tsuwm's worthless word for the day:
gyascutis:an imaginary large four-legged beast with legs on one side longer than on the other for walking on hillsides.
And I always thought that was a haggis!

Animals on hillside reminds me of anecdote about Cordell Hull, Secretary of State during FDR's presidencies. He had a reputation for avoiding speculation, which he demonstrated on one occasion when on a train someone called attention to sheep, saying they had been shorn. Hull looked briefly, and assented: "Shorn on this side, anyway."

"Shorn on this side, anyway." Ah--sounds like a man after my own heart! (Can't resist this: he must've had the wool pulled over his eyes one too many times...)
