In news about a (heh) catastrophic decline in the west african lion population, views are proffered by an expert from the charity, LionAid. His name?

Dr Pieter Kat

Is kat a con man? I cry for the lions. The damn Africans must set aside enough land to insure that their indigious lions survive. Damn them. Their culture propagates people they can't feed and doesn't protect a wonderful legacy.
Bad culture. sick

To do that, Buff, presumably one needs to lionise a lion?

Make up my own lion? OK, here goes :-

Two big cats in the registry office: are they Marriage Lions?

WWII - A big cat joined the French Maquis, but wasn't very effective. he was the Lion of least resistance

Two big cats travelling at right angles to each othe: they are crossed lions. If they travel next to each other as parallel lions - they'll never meet

The yellow-and-black big cat makes straight for his objective: is he making a Bee Lion for it?

The star of the Lion King is off sick: there are many applicants to take his place. They stand in Lion for the job?

Richard Branson relies on railway lions

the way I heard it, was:

I keep my pants up with Piece of Twine
I keep my eyes wide open all the Time
I keep the end up for the Ties that Bind
Because you're mine, Please pull the Twine.
