Prononciation: Ghee-gle For clarification, I first came across the word gigil on a TV forum discussion about the origin of language. Since then I have had trouble finding a true source. This is all I have ..... Filipino Dictionary I'm thinking, because this word exists in Filipino it means the Philippines has a lot of cute things to talk about, things so cute you melt as they look back at you with their huge doe eyes. When I heard it I thought 'we should use that word'. Its so much better than, * OMG! that little puppy is so cute, look at him, I just want to squeeze him and cuddle him tight* and what about the time your elderly aunt/grandmother comes to visit. Does she pinch your cheeks and say how cute your dimples are? So now this is the word to describe that action.

But...to give grandmaster tsuwm a cookie of his own dough, how come he has 5 points? The vote by tsuwm on tsuwms' definition gets no points, if my mem'ry serves me well..... I know points don't count but even nopoints should be counted well.

tsuwm Carpal Tunnel Registered: 04/03/00 Posts: 10463 Loc: this too shall pass	if you're going to quibble about the scoring based on precedent [harumph], how about that giving of a bonus to wofa for multiple submissions, which was frowned upon in the past - as more daffies usaully gets you more total votes. but yes, the points don't matter.
