Is this in the Urban Dictionary? Or should it be?

I just came across this headline:
Movie News

Squicky news of the day: ... actor, 51, marries 16-year-old

urban

As the link button is the only little square of the fun bar that still works I will gladly give you the link for free. Though I'm not totally sure whether this news should be called squicky. There are many squickier things happening in this world. :-|

Why did you not post the reference to article Jackie?
Was the squicky emotion to the fact of their ages or something else?

and thanks Bran, you're a real sweetie (I used your link) smirk

There's no copyright on links yet smirk (I copied your smiley)
Squicky and squeaky are maybe almost the same. A nice couple.

Why did you not post the reference to article Jackie? Because there were advertisements on the page.

Oh Bran....you found a way around your problems. Can you copy and paste the smiley in dropdown box too or is that still a problem, getting assess to the box!

OK Jackie..I hear you. Guess it don't matter to this conversation anyway!

Not many things in life disgust me, so I probably wont get round to using the squicky word, but its good to know it for when I see someone else use it.

I did put it in Google thinking it was a texting abbreviation, but came up with some weird chemical formulas and some attorneys' offices, neither of which I thought applied. *lol*

It comes from those too busy to help out, it means:

I Can Look It Up.
YCLIU

IS You Can Look it Up.

aligatorz is a girl. see...she has a curly tail...very feminine!
I do look things up.
Did you mean: jiggly aclu

No standard web pages containing all your search terms were found.

Your search - jicklu icklu - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.
Try fewer keywords.

Haha! this confusion happens all the time laugh
We didn't have alligators that precisely at school. Certainly not the ones that go on two legs. Thanks for looking it up.
Must be the wrong spelling.

Perhaps they don't know where to look. Not everyone is
so computer literate. It's like a slap in the face.

But, I think *everyone should be slapped in the face until they learn how to use 1) OneLook (for definitions), 2) Wikipedia (for encyclopaedic info), and 3) Google (for general searches).

And, it's simple to learn - just add .com to each of the above and use the resulting search box.

As opposed to those who were too lazy to look it up for themselves. In this case it was one whose aim was to start a conversation, rather than seeking actual information. Seems to have worked!

I'll take a wild guess and say that VV referred to vavavoom.

Well that is your opinion, and you know what they say
about opinions. Were you ever slapped in the face or
were you born perfect?

Yep. I was born perfect (mom says that's what the doctor said anyway) but I have declined greatly as life has progressed. 'Some' people just don't realize that everyone else isn't a 'know-it-all' and as well as looking things up believe in asking others for explanations of commonly used phrases and info being used in the forums.

Like buying a new car and suddenly seeing them all over and in the very same unusual color.

Why is the 'a' dropped from Diego Garcia to make this word?
