Lots of very funny but plainly whimsical creations there! I predict most will be able to pick the right one this time.

Oh really? Give me some light here. Do not underestimate the tricky aspects of this Hogmaster. I like the whole lot but I go straight for the one that brought me the biggest laugh. The happy hermit. Sitting stylite in the twilight. Which means k)

Because it ran through my head to submit something similar, and great minds think alike, I'll take B :0)

I think we have votes from all the entrants but for Jackie and ASp, so we can put this sucker out of its misery as soon as they deign to vote.

Yah, and I ain't neither Jackie nor ASp. Although I do have a special relationship with the ASp.
But just so as not to make a liar out of you I'll vote for B

OK, a lot of these are not written very well so they get thrown out, despite tsuwm's good intentions in trying to normalize.
From what's left over, I'll go with L).

I say F .
I was also very surprised that this word has only two syllables; I'd been sure it was STY-uh-lite. Like style is sty-uhl. Now don't you-all tell me there's anybody out there who can pronounce style in one syllable only!

For sure I can, but it might not sound very Kentuckian. I can't imagine why you have to make this little in between step. Sty-uh-lite? (we've done this before) Like twilight.

Stile...a step used to go between pastures without crawling over/under/through a fence. Homonym for style, in my mangled usage.

I'd count style as one and a half syllables. Tack the -ite on the end and the L has something to grab a hold of so it's only two syllables.

You ain't gonna make no Yankee out of me, that's fer sure! I come from the state where people have been known to say pee-ON-sull. Edit: Like twilight. Yeah, I can say that in two syllables, but not stylite, probably because there's no such word as twile. Style and stile both have two syllables!
