If you could have only three or four reasonably-priced and readily-available slang dictionaries--preferably but not necessarily leftpond-- what would they be--Thanks again all

Slang changes so often that I'd rather rely on the on-line dictionaries.

Two that I have found handy are:
a. Aemilius Valliculus Beschiessenenhausius. Catholicon verborum prohibitorum et bromosorum.
b. Roderick Merkyn-Bysshe-Cockerham. Thesaurus verborum eumelanicorum.
They might not be in print, or available used, but no doubt a good university library should have one or the other or both.

Anna:There's just a whole lot of truth to that; tho OneLook is very slow to pick up on slang and neologisms
