It won't be easy, you'll think it strange
When I try to explain how I feel
That I still need your love after all that I've done
You won't believe me
All you will see is a girl you once knew
Although she's dressed up to the nines
At sixes and sevens with you

I had to let it happen, I had to change
Couldn't stay all my life down at heel
Looking out of the window, staying out of the sun
So I chose freedom
Running around, trying everything new
But nothing impressed me at all
I never expected it to

Don't cry for me Argentina
The truth is I never left you
All through my wild days
My mad existence
I kept my promise
Don't keep your distance

Don't cry for me Argentina - "Evita" (1976)
Music: Andrew Lloyd Webber. Lyrics: Tim Rice.

Mad About You

A stone's throw from Jerusalem
A walked a lonely mile in the moonlight
And though a million stars were shining
My heart was lost on a distant planet
That whirls around the April moon
Whirling in an arc of sadness
I'm lost without you I'm lost without you
And though you hold the keys to ruin
Of everything I see
With every prison blown to dust,
My enemies walk free
Though all the kingdoms turn to sand
And fall into the sea
I'm mad about you I'm mad about you

There's somethin' strange in the fridge today
I don't know what it is
Food I can't recognize.
My roommate won't throw a thing away
I guess it's prob'ly his -
It looks like it's alive

And livin' in the fridge
Livin' in the fridge
livin' in the fridge
livin' in the fridge.

There's something strange in the fridge today
it's green and growing hair
Been there since July.
If you can name the object
in that baggie over there
then, mister, you're a better man than I.

It's livin' in the fridge
(Just can't stop the mold from growin')
Livin' in the fridge
(Can't tell what it is at all)
Livin' in the fridge
(Just can't stop the mold from growin')
Livin' in the fridge.

Tell me, do you think it should be carbon-dated
Fumigated, or cremated and buried at sea ?
Try to save a little bit of your home cookin',
Couple weeks late, got a scary lookin' specimen
It always happens my friend,
Again, and again and again.

Well, something stinks in the fridge today
and it's been rottin' there all week.
It could be liver cake or woolly mammoth steak
Well, maybe I should take another peek - AAAUUUUUUGGGGHHHH!

It's livin' in the fridge
(Just can't stop the mold from growin')
Livin' in the fridge
(Can't tell what it is at all)
Livin' in the fridge
(Just can't stop the mold from growin')
Livin' in the fridge.

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk.
Music loud and women warm.
I've been kicked around since I was born.
And now it's all right, it's O.K.
And you may look the other way.
We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man.
Whether you're a brother
Or whether you're a mother,
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Feel the city breakin'
And ev'rybody shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

I've been pulled to pieces, i've got an arm over here,
I've got a leg over there, i've got my bleep somewhere upside down,
But i'm back, i'm here to tell you i'm back, better than before,
Can't keep a good thing down, uh-uh.

Well i've been kicked around , never thought that i could fall,
Thought that i was standing tall, turned out i was the ball,
And you know what, and i, and i, and i've been kicked around,
Baby after all, i took all the shots you called,
Turned out i was the ball, you kicked you pushed.

And i've been kicked around,
, and i've been upside down,
Oh i've been bounced around, kicked around,
I'm gonna get you, get you, your very momma will regret you,
I'm going to stomp and drag you to your knees,
Your very papa will forget you, kicked around.

Momma take this badge from me
I can't use it anymore
It's getting dark too dark to see
Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door

Stay by me
And make the moment last
Please take these lips
Even if I have been kissed
A million times

And I don't care if there is no tomorrow
When I could die here in your arms
Even if the stars have made us blind
We're blind we're blind
So blind in love

Sweet darling
Don't you know that we're no different to anyone
We stumble
We falter
But we're no different than anyone

And all the winter snow has melted now
Into a pool of silver water
And we were standing in a thunder cloud
Dark as your hair
Dark as your hair

Stay By Me
Annie Lennox

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
Your branches green delight us.
They're green when summer days are bright;
They're green when winter snow is white.
