There's really a word specifically to describe people who think Bacon wrote Shakespeare's plays, other than loopy, I mean? Who coins these things? 'Fess up tsuwm, it's you, ain't it?

Wot?? Our tsuwm? I've always thought he was a straight-down-the line wysiwyg sort of guy.

Oh yes, only a couple of days ago was I was only looking in the Grandiloquent Dictionary for an insult or two and spotted it there, next to sgriob (a word I often slip into conversation).

sgiomlaireached - The habit of dropping in at mealtimes
sgriob - The itchiness of the upper lip just before taking a sip of whiskey
shaconian - A person who believes Francis Bacon wrote Shakespeare's works

Mind you, this is the only reference to be spat out by Google (and even for really obscure things there are usually at least a few more) someone out there could be extracting the Michael!

A quick google shows one other source:

Oops... looks like that was the same source. Apologies (no, I'm not trying to hasten my rise to "old hand")

Who cares? It's the funniest "dictionary" I've seen. I've added it to my favourites and will definitely consult it frequently ...

Is there a markup for banging head on desk? I had a dyslexic moment I thrink? Dam ! There I go again. Shux !
The GSP (Great Spell Checker) wants dyslexic to be dyspeptic ... I guess that works, too.

yes... or at least the usual gang of weird resources believes there is: C.H. Elster's "There's a Word for It", Mrs. Byrne, and the aforementioned Grandiloquent Dictionary all have it -- I suspect the ultimate 'current' source is Mrs. B, but heaven only knows from where she culled it (her Bibliography is tres extensive).
