someone posted the following question to my group:

does anyone know what it is to be a "looking glass person?" This phrase was used in an old news article about someone being arrested for being such a person. Thank you.

the only thing I came up with via google is some sort of "unreal" or "other" which may or may not fit here. any other (or not) ideas?

I felt as if I were in a Looking-Glass world where everything goes the wrong way. - Anthony Gilbert

Most probably a reference to Lewis Caroll and his paradoxical cast, don't you think so?

Or some form of döppelganger with opposite inclinations, behaviours and actions? A kind of evil twin, it'd have to be in order to get arrested...

You didn't happen to get a link to the article, did you? Or a short, context filled quote?
