Rialto is the place to go

Is simply magical

43 posts in 3 1/2 years [averaging one a month]. And some say I am aloof! ... when they don't have anything more censorious to say, of course. :)

Just amusing myself with some harmless ALADs, snoot, in celebration of Anu's memorable AWADs of last week.

Some posters do hogwash, or acronym threads, or worthless words. I do ALADs.

You're welcome to join in, snoot. But you may want to do ALAYs instead of ALADs. I don't want to overtax your enthusiasm.

Once a pantheon hosted great deities
With a taste for vestal virginities.
The Hall of Fame of today
Honors games children play
And "jocks" are our only divinities.

2. A temple dedicated to all the gods.

3. All the gods of a people or religion collectively.

4. A public building containing tombs of illustrious people.

After Pantheon, a domed circular temple in Rome, built c. 120 AD. From Greek pantheion (temple of all the gods), from pan- (all) + theos (gods). [per Anu]
