l. a non-porous container

o. Religious implements, the precise nature of which is now unknown, used in the worship of Artemis Braurion

Defintions supplied by:
Annastrophic, Bingley, Capfka, coffeebean, Faldage, Jomama,
JosieWales, just visiting, Rhuby, Shanks, slithy, TEd, tsuwm, wofa, Zed, plus of course the true definition

Note: one player gave the true definition, but then decided to give a false one. Two players gave the same definition (in different words, natch) so I have combined them into one.

On the East Coast it's jocularly referred to as "sundowning." Mental status usually reverts to normal with the break of day, but unfortunately not always.

Although I'm equally fascinated by day-glo octopods and the worship of Artemis, I'll go for I.

The 'container' answers are somewhat armilesque. Now I like f, i and n (which are arguably armilesque but I like 'em, anyway).

For sheer Creativity, though, I'll take C, please.

But does Pfranz's votes both count towards f's perpetrator's score?

We should remember that fitting within the bounds of an armil does not necessarily disqualify a choice, particulaly when the word is composed of such easily identifiable roots?

That asked, I'm eliminating the container answers on the grounds that they are based on a mis-division of amphora. M would be so delicious, but the while strikes a wrong chord.

F and I both have gestalt problems, so, to complete the fish trilogy, I'll go with N.

Considering his choice defines *it as "Things without consequence" mehbe they shouldn't even get one.

I'm guessing M.

Ain' nothin disqualifies the plural for adiaphora. Might could be the singular is adiaphoron.

...how many of yez are being seduced by the "-phora" reminding you of "-phoria"? A different kettle of fish entirely.

Can a new kid play?
I like the container answers because of the similarity betwixt them, and because of the Greek roots as laid out in option j.
I have to go L-egant simplicity.

I love k, even if only because I read it as "... a metrical pattern on ... POTTERY" lol

However, the even more poetical sonorosity of D is even more attractive - who cares if it's correct - it *should be!

Bingley:

I'm not gonna vote because I happened to know what adiaphora means, though for the life of me I cannot imagine where I picked up such a useless bit of knowledge.

It's a great word for hogwash, BTW.

TEd

Oh, wait. I do know where I picked it up. In a surplus catalog. Now that should confuse the people who haven't put in their guesses yet.

I know! Is sounds very pretty. It just sounded too pretty though, so I didn't go that route.
