Bucolic \Bu*col"ic\, a. [L. bucolicus, Gr. ?, fr. ? cowherd,
herdsman; ? ox + (perh.) ? race horse; cf. Skr. kal to drive:
cf. F. bucolique. See Cow the animal.]
Of or pertaining to the life and occupation of a shepherd;
pastoral; rustic.
