Jackie, you're leading again!

[With apologies to 'Some like it hot' -- but in no way equating you with 'Daphne'!]

Let me celebrate my "newbieness" with an Italian proverb:
Chi va piano va sano e va lontano = he, who goes slowly, goes safe and far.
I feel that my translation is terrible, but I cannot do better. The meaning is that you can do great things - even if slowly - by perseverance.
Emanuela

You're not pulling wool over my eyes are you, Jackie, or are you just a wolf[-ess] in sheep's clothing?

Ladies choice, I believe.

Congratulations, NewbiEmanuela! :-)

I like that proverb, since I am a person who prefers
security over risk. I think you are very brave to have
come this far, since your earliest posts indicated that you
don't think you have a real good command of English. (Or
didn't at that time.)
That reminds me of Avy's determination to get through
Shakespeare.

It takes a lot more courage to persevere with something that is difficult than something that comes easily.
I admire you both.

Well, Dearest, there are times when the word for a female
canine fits me!

I see that twusm's only ten paces behind you. Then we'll have to think of a name for a self-help group - Words Anonymous?

Perhaps the next level after Addict is Disciple?
