OP acrimony
Ac´ri`mo`ny
Noun 1. acrimony - a sharp and bitter manner
bitterness, jaundice, acerbity
disagreeableness - an ill-tempered and offensive disposition
I would expect this particular word to be very familiar to most of us, and not because we are necessarily an acrimonious bunch.
I always think of matrimony after hearing acrimony in free association.
